A week has past since I challenged myself to one thousand squats a day. After forty eight hours I realized the definition of overtraining. THIGH BURN! So that was that for a bit. But my legs still need to get strong for the foot drum. That's why I have decided to do one thousand every other day. That's three to four thousand squats a week, about twenty four thousand squats a month, and about one hundred twenty thousand squats or so till the foot drums arrival. Fun stuff! No point in stopping after that.
I have to say condition for a musician is fun. There are so many things that can be done with every instrument. One legged guitar squats, any stringed instrument played on an indo board/skateboard/etc. Dobro horse stances I will be documenting tomorrow! I have some ideas for keyboard that still need to be tested.
Anyway, if the body is conditioned for extreme circumstances the accomplishments will flow very effortlessly. It's all about the challenge. So challenge yourself today and see what is possible.
