Yesterday I was doing a little Guitar Fu, more on that later, and realized that I hadn't done any conditioning in a while. It's quite sad. I have a gig on Friday, and my performing needs some revamping. So, today I made sure that I wasn't going to do anything until I did just that. Which meant a round of Tapout Xt. True thing, cardio and guitar playing go hand in hand, at least that's what I notice.
It felt good to get back into it. There's something about working up a good sweat that just brightens your day. My mood's better, even with the weird weather, I'm more relaxed, and I'm ready to Rock out! No show tonight, but if there's a last minute one, I'll be ready! There's still lots of work to do, as always. Otherwise why do we do the things we do? Honestly I have no clue. There are too many variables that come into play to make an accurate analysis. Point being, I think it's good to go with how one is feeling. I felt that a workout was well over do, and I responded. End of story, that's the fact of the matter, and as my mother would say, "Don't take any wooden nickels." Still not sure what that means.
Cheers,
Tajlyn
